I have written a macro for Fiji ImageJ(1.52n) to analyze particles. Beside i wrote a python (3.7) code wich deals with the result Data out of the particle analyze.
So far i tried fijibin (https://github.com/arve0/fijibin) and pyimagej (https://github.com/imagej/pyimagej).Fijibin does not work at all. With pyimage the import works but the communication with imagej not. Fijibin does not work at all.
You can define macros that create tools that get added to the ImageJ toolbar. There are three types of macro tools: image tools, action tools and menu tools. The three types can be combined to create a tool set. Tool sets can be added to the ImageJ toolbar as needed by clicking on the icon in the toolbar.
If you break your code and need to back up, you still have a functional copy of the original macro. Test your macro in stages. First make sure it will process one image the way you expect, then expand to auto-processing a folder with three or four test images, THEN run your macro on all of your images.
